BUTCH DAMICO MEMORIAL FALL FOLIAGE CRUISE

The "Butch" Damico Memorial Fall Foliage Cruise.  Butch had such a big impact on the initial formation and ongoing leadership of our Corvette Club.

This Run is always one of the best runs of the year. The PA colors are amazing, and the weather is typically still warm. October is a great opportunity to really enjoy your Corvette before you put it away for the winter, so, mark your calendars.  

This year we will be traveling to Sinnemahoning State Park in Elk County.  See trip details below.

We will be leaving from Home Depot in Altoona at 10:00 am.

Event Itinerary:

Departing from Altoona Home Depot at 10:00 am.

Interstate 99 North to the Bald Eagle exit.

Route 350 to Philipsburg Sheetz

Turn right onto Route 53 to Kylertown at the Kwik Fill.  Rest stop if needed.

Get on to Rolling Stone Road to Route 879

Turn right onto Route 879 also known as the Frenchville Karthaus Highway.

Continue to Quehanna Highway, past the Quehanna Boot Camp to Medix Run.

Turn right at the stop sign onto Route 555 to Benezette Pa.

Benezette Visitors Area and Elk Viewing Area.  If time allows this would be a place to stop and visit.

Continue on Route 555 to Route 120, turn right on Route 120 to Renovo.  Continue on Route 120 for approximately 6 miles to Hyner View.

If time permits there is a picnic and viewing area of the Valley and river.

Continue on Route 120 to Lock Haven, PA past the Lock Haven University to Route 150 also known as Bellefonte Avenue.

Turn right onto Route 150 to Ruby Tuesdays at the Walmart Plaza.  After dinner turn right out of the parking lot continue on Route 150 to Milesburg.  Continue straight onto Route 220 South to Altoona.

Note:  Our goal is to reach Ruby Tuesdays between 3 and 4PM.

Ruby Tuesdays is expecting our group.  Dillon the Manager has us reserved.
